Any hoses suspect...
To pop off or split?
I stepped on it in 3rd getting on the interstate and heard a loud pop and no power. Threw it in neutral and turned it off, pulled over and looked for oil drips, didn't see any. I started it back up and it idles rough, I can hear the turbo spinning when I rev it but no boost sounds. I can hear the turbo while driving also but it sounds "sick" no boost and it stumbles and has no power if I give it more then a bit of gas.
I have no CEL or any other warning lights.
I've done as good a check as I can with a flashlight for split hoses or popped off ones but the only one I can find that looks suspect is the one going from the turbo to the charge pipe. It looks like it's moved but doesn't feel split, engine is to hot to really feel around back there right now so I'm giving it a few minutes.
Need to vagcom but I don't have one and my friend who does is asleep. No tools here at the apt either, anything else I can look at with a flashlight?
