Moderation in this forum....my promise to you.
Guys and Gals,
I've been given moderator privileges to this forum.
There was a lack of "setting expectations up front" on the conversion to vB...so here is what you can expect from me:

We all know what has happened here over the past couple days and I don't think any of us are proud of it, we're all living in it and have to deal with it and the ultimate result has yet to show its self.
I have no control over that, I'm just a user here that today, accepted a responsibility to try and make this the best forum possible for everyone.
AW has given this responsibility to several users in all the individual forums, the way it should be.
So please, let’s get back to what we do best....helping each other out.
If you have any questions or comments, you can reply here or send me a PM. I will try and respond as quickly as possible.

I've been given moderator privileges to this forum.
There was a lack of "setting expectations up front" on the conversion to vB...so here is what you can expect from me:
- I will moderate with fairness
- I will not delete posts with constructive criticism as long as they follow the forum rules, but I may move them to the Feedback forum as the "people in control," don't keep up with every forum.
- I will try and maintain a "no moderation policy," as much as I can.
- I will get the FAQ into a format that hopefully will serve generations to come.
- I will moderate or move any post related to the conversion to the proper forum...either the off topic or feedback forum as those are the proper place for those types of posts.
- I will delete or edit any links or posts that encourage people to leave this forum....period.
- I will delete any Post attacking anyone for any reason...Period.
- I encourage open / off topic threads as long as they follow the forum rules and are constructive to the community.
- I'm asking for a couple others to step forward as moderators so I'm not the sole person in charge here...I don't want anyone to think I'm on a power trip.

You can remove as much info as you can from your profile and just log out.
I will look into deleting your profile if that is what you want.
I do not have a problem with giving you what you ask for. (please don't take that the wrong way...I know a lot of people feel burned and would rather just move on. I respect that.)

I understand your point of view and respect it.
I'm good where I am for now. If I can have some sort of influence on turning this mess around I'm going to give it the old college try.

My only answer is that I will and have tried and stick to my above set expectations. Simple as that.
If you were a part of any post I've edited, moved or deleted they follow my, now in writing for everyone to see, guidlines. I've even moved some of my own posts that were counter productive to our community.
I think that's fair for everyone.
IMHO it will help us get back to what we do best, which is help eachother out.
