transmission rebuild

Any one know where I can send my transmission for rebuild? Or where I can purchase a rebuilt one. 02 6 speed quattro

Also any one have issues when switching to redline mt-90 oil. Such as issues with the transmission not working right when cold but fine warm.

Its hard to find a shop that is willing to rebuild a quattro transmission. years ago I had the tranny out of my 5KTQ rebuilt by Greg Haymond in NY. I have no idea if he is still around or if he would do one from a TT

I have never had a problem with redline MT-90, if anything the car would shift better when it was cold with the redline.

i think its hard to find workshop which will rebuild your quattro transmission. ask from engineers of your car

i handle tranny rebuilds. do u just want a stock rebuild or a rebuild plus LSD install or hardened gears installed plus lsd plus rebuild?..

i have a friend who needs a tranny rebuild also for a 2003 FWD tiptronic. since it is not quattro does he have better luck finding a place that will rebuild it? Anyone around CT that does this sort of thing?
