C5A6 Taillights...anybody have some extras's
If anyone has an extra set of C5A6 taillights lying around that I could borrow for about two weeks I will gladly pay a rental fee. The tinting on ours is coming off, I found a guy who does this professionally using the same type of paint, clear coat, etc. as painting a car, but first I need to remove the old tint off mine and ship them to him.

Before you head down that route have you talked to places like Tinteks? They can tint your tails with film and you can't tell it's film. Maybe that was the route you went before. But it might be a more cost effective option and it's local.

The InPro (Hella) tinted taillights are molded with the tint, not painted. I also have these on my melange A6 2.7T. Is there something wrong with yours? They can be buffed without damaging the tint if they are scratched. BTDT.

my tint is flakign off on the left side, eight now about 1/4 of the taillight is gone and it's getting worse. There appear to also be bubbles on the right side as well.
