What a freakin drive home from work today. 3 hours to get from the DTC to parker and quincey via yosemite and 225.

And some drivers out there are complete idiots.

No way in hell I was going into the office today.. good thing my work was smart enough to close the office and everyone worked from home. I might not be going in tomorrow either! Just got done shoveling 1 foot of snow off the driveway.. welcome to corner lot where the wind blows everyone's crap on my driveway.

Left Denver @ 4am for Santa Fe, NM. Picked up my trailer and left Santa Fe @ 10:45, pulled into the yard in Commerce City @ 7:45. Only made one 15 minute stop for lunch, the drive sucked ***. Was beautiful from Santa Fe to Walsenberg, 3 miles N. of Walsenberg it went to hell fast.

Centennial airport area to Quincy/Chambers, 6 miles, in 35 mins at 3pm. Parker Rd north from Arapahoe wasn't busy at all, but it's still nice to have snow tires and quattro.

Toll road saved me yesterday. Had to take the ole lady to work and back, E-470 was the only way. Started towards 225 and turned around which took an hr. It was an ice rink on the side roads, and yes people were spinning out everywhere!

Yesterday was the first day I tried driving since I broke my right ankle. I had to get the CSM to take an exam, then they cancel class as I get there, so I have to drive 93 back to boulder with my left foot. That was a bit of an adventure. At least I know I can get around now.

Yeah, it's a nice thing to have. I could care less about it. If someone hit me, it's not a big deal. Old school 4wd plus snow tires plus no power = good in big snow.
