that is an amazing write up!
From what I understand you would be looking at about $900 in just labor if you took it to a shop.

I did this job the day I purchased my car almost 3 years ago and really dont remember too much about it. It was hard but doable and I would think with that write up, just about anyone with reasonable mechanical knowledge should be able to do it.

Default TB writeup is being updated........

The forum conversion to VB has compromised the content of my writeup.

It will be updated this week.

Missing (and additional) pictures can be found in my Fotki album here: http://public.fotki.com/BlueTTop/mod...t-replacement/

My Fotki is where I will post updates regarding this and other mods. In the near future my Fotki will also include links to author-friendly FAQ's. If you have suggestions let me know.

Blue TTop, thanks for the EXCELLENT write up!!
I am not sure if its because I am doing this for the second time or your write up or a combination of both but I it actually seemed easy. everything went very smooth!
The only thing I really did different was I did not remove the power steering reservoir, just unbolted it from the mount and moved it around as needed.

thanks again!

Mike

The class action suit was only for those who had their timing belts fail and not for those who simply did their timing belts.
