Default A5 paint colors and S-Line

Better half is trying to order an A5 in Aruba Blue with the S-Line package.

Dealer says can't have S-Line with Aruba Blue.

Anyone know which colors can be ordered with S-Line on the A5?

Also, is custom paint still an option? I seem to recall for a fee you could select any audi color on any audi car.

TIA

That appears to be accurate.

Go to audiusa.com and try to configure one. If you start off with Aruba Blue, you can choose Premium Package but not the S-Line, since you will then get errors saying you can't have a black interior and must deselect something.

Custom paint runs north of $2k

No s-line on Aruba blue or Sahara silver. Custom paint is $2500

I'm curious if it's a technical reason or a design reason (or maybe marketing and demand) to not offer all colors with the S-Line trim.

I didn't think the dealer was not truthful about it, I just don't understand why it wouldn't be available in all colors.

Dealer did verify custom paint is $2,500.

There are only so many colors that Audi makes available per model. Since the S-line gets two additional colors, it looks like they took these two away.

Also, Aruba Blue is not available with a black interior (only beige), and S-line only comes with a black interior. So it would seem these are 'incompatible' options so to speak.

If you are going to go the custom color option you may as well consider getting an S5 in Sprint Blue since it will cost not much more than the A5 with premium, S-line, and the $2500 custom color charge.

Interesting point on the S5.

Hey, just wanted to say hi. Im relatively new to the forum. Anyway, if you are going to order a custom color by any chance, I would suggest sepang blue very sporty blue paint. I'm going to custom order this color once the US get the 2.0TFSI Engine.

The lighting really doesnt help out in this picture but this is an example of the color on the A5. You can probably search more or google it to find a true representation of the color.
