Made an error ordering my A-5 from my dealer

Default Made an error ordering my A-5 from my dealer

I purchased an Audi A-5 on 3/28. During negotiations with my salesman , I made it clear I wanted everything available on the car except for the Adaptive Cruise Control and Drive Select packages. On my contract it states that included are the Premium, Technology, Navigation, Bang and Olufsen, Milano Leather, and 19" Inch Sport tires.

Not mentioned on the contract is the S-line package. I even commented how I did not like the stock seats. I was just concerned that the S-line sport package will not be included in my purchase even though I discussed with the sales representative what I wanted with the order and we negotiated as such. I also noticed my color of seat (Milano Cinnamon Leather) was not available with the S-line (which is fine) but there must be a mistake somewhere

I put down a $2,000 deposit as they had to order the car and it would be a while before it arrives.

I know there is an additional cost, but I really still want the S-line package.

The dealer told me it would be a few weeks to months before my car arrive anyway. Do you think if I go to the dealer on Monday, I can still change my order if I pay the difference in price?

If the car hasn't gone into production yet, you can still make changes to the order.

Check the status of the order with the dealer and find out your status and then you can make the decision.

Make sure when they add the cost for the S-line they take off the $1K for Milano leather. So the additional cost should be just under $2K.

Why are you ordering an A5? Seems like it should be possible to find one in inventory somewhere. There have been reports on here of A5s available off the lot. I would shop around, maybe go outside immediate geographic area -- might be able to find what you want without the wait.

I ordered Deep Sea blue with the brown interior. I'm pretty sure they has to order it special.

Also the difference in cost should be even less than 2000 as I ordered 19" tires with the original order. I highly doubt the car entered production on a Saturday so I should be good. It's my fault for not checking before leaving the dealership, but I made it super clear I wanted EVERYTHING but adaptive cruise and the drive select.

Went to my dealership this morning and I took care of it. $950 for the upgrade from what I ordered. I like the sport seats far better, although I wasn't really into getting the black seats.

It's probably the contradiction between the color choice and the SLine. They don't make the S-Line with the brown leather, so it probably went tilt in the computer. Just call you dealer. It will probably be fine.

Yeah, they took care of it.

They switched me to the S-line like I asked.

I got the black Sport Seats instead of the Milano Leather....mmmhhhhmmm Milano....
