Brakes are engaged and won't let go!!
I removed the ABS lines when installing the rack and pinion (now I know I didn't have to). When I finished the installation I started noticing that after I drove it for about 10 miles the brakes would engage progressively without me pressing on the pedal. My gas comsumption went down to 16 mpg from 22 mpg. And when I touch the rotor was super hot.
Today, after driving it 10 miles, it got to the point it wouldn't move at all. I let it stand for about 15 minutes and the brakes would then release. I was able to drive to work. The thing is, it sometimes does it and sometimes won't. Anyone experienced this before?

No. I don't have the VAGCOM.
To bleed it I would step on the brake pedal 3 times then hold the pedal down. Someone else at the caliper would open the valve to release the fluid. We did RR then RL - FR - FL. We did not flush or bleed at the ABS module though.
