Bilsteins for an early-2000 A6 2.7TQ

Bilsteins for an early-2000 A6 2.7TQ
My 2000 A6 Quattro was released into the wild in Nov. 1999. Apparently, Bistein has something against the 1997-2000 A6 Quattro, as their only listing for my application is the Touring Class (Twin-Tube) shock for the front, with no spec for the rear. Has anyone successfully used any of the HD Bilstein Mono-Tube shocks for the front and rear in this year range?
I've investigated other brands and found that some manufacturers list a single spec for a range of vehicles for which Bilstein has somewhat more limited specifications. I suspect that the limits may be due to the fact that Bilstein simply has not tested its applicable range of products on certain cars, but I'll take input on the possibility that I may be wrong!

The newer shocks work fine.
We've been supplying earlier shocks with no issues at all.
Passats use the identical front suspension pieces and have been using them since 1998. Why Bilstein doesn't get off their lazy *** and fix their catalog is beyond me.

Bilstein lists the F4-BE5-6508-H0 for the front and F4-BE5-6509-H0 for the rear of the 05/00 to 02/05 A6 Quattro. I assume they're different form the F4-B36-2079-H0 (front) and F4-BE3-2532-H0 (rear) listed for the 02/97 to 04/00 Avant. I've checked out your website, but I only see the Sport shocks listed there. Which HDs have you found to be correct for my car?
