Both have gone through inspection at Holbert's Audi/Porsche/VW.

Silver 62K - The usual stuff; minor seepage at rear main (not a leak, just dirt sticking to it a little bit), trans output shaft seal leak (will @#$% Audi EVER solve this problem? I am fixing it), tires will need replacing in next 5K or so miles, rear brake pads at 4MM. Mechanically otherwise excellent and everything works to spec. Drives tight and smooth, no issues.

Cosmetically very nice, not mint, but very nice.

Exterior - Some minor scratches and chips. A couple of panels have been painted in its past, but done well and car looks very good.

Interior - Very very nice, near mint condition for seats, door panels, carpets, headliner, dash, wood, etc. Silkscreen rubbed off a couple of control buttons. Cluster pixels all working.

For forum member, $16,500 including one year powertrain warranty. Car has books, two keys, tonneau cover, and warranty service history from Audi.

P.S. Yes, I know my detailer went nuts with the shine spray in the engine compartment. I told him to lay off.


Blue 78K mile car - Very strong inspection report. Basically no mechanical issues (trans output shaft seal leak was repaired by previous owner). Hood strut and wiper blades will need replacing (they are really stretching, they need business!). Front brake pads have good amount left, but some cracking in material due to heat cycles/age so should be replaced at some point. This car also has parking sensors and navigation. Ming (moro?)blue over light grey. Car wears Blizzaks with about 50% tread remaining.

Cosmetically also very nice, maybe slightly better than silver car but very close overall.

Exterior - Some minor scratches and chips. Horizontal crack in front bumper panel from parking lot incident. A couple of panels have been painted in its past, but done well and car looks very good. Some wheel scuffs.

Interior - Very very nice overall for seats, door panels, carpets, headliner, dash, wood, etc. Driver's seat needs good cleaning as the near-white color of the leather shows use more than black. A couple of missing things; carpeted warning triangle cover, cupholder plastic front piece. Cluster pixels all working.

For forum member, $15,500 with front bumper and wheels refinished as needed, including one year powertrain warranty. Car has books, mats, cargo net/cover, one key, and warranty service history from Audi. Not detailed yet, will post pics when it's done.
