Sorry if this has been posted already but i am a newbie so please bear with me. I just picked up a 2006 A6 , the salesmen mentioned to me that if i ever wanted to add navi it was possible and he could do it for $3000, i then did my own research and find a DVD NAvigation unit online and purchased it. My question is do i need to purchase wires to connect it to the car or is the car already prewired? So my first question is if i need the wires ; where can i get them from? My second question is , after i add the navi do i have to upgrade the software for it to work? If yes how can i go about on doing it? My third question is does anyone have an installation quide for connecting all the wires? By the way the car has a shark fin antenna installed already. Thanks in advance and if there is anything else i need to know that i missed , i would truly appreciate if anyone could let me know. Thanks again and by the way i have had the car a week and i love it.
