DV diaphragm rip..
I have a Forge Race DV and was messing around with the car and decided to clean the DV since I've never done it. Well to my surprise the rubber diaphragm has an approx 1" rip on the top rim. I took pics and can download them but needed to know what kind of problems this can cause. I'm sure this is absolutely no new topic but I'm pressed for time at the moment.
Unfortunately I dont have any of the extra stuff the DV came with from moving recently. I will have to put it back together now but was curious as to the extent of problems with can cause. I have been having major problems with my car hesitating, bucking, and misfiring under moderate to harder acceleration but I attribute that to a bad coil pak which I'm replacing soon. could this contribute anything like this?
