2001 A6 automatic tranny tiptronic 5sp reverse only slips

2001 A6 automatic tranny tiptronic 5sp reverse only slips
Hello,
My newly acquired A6 came with a reverse that slips. Previous owner stated that this has been the case for more than a year that he had it, perhaps longer.
As far as I can tell, only slips in reverse, all other gears work good, car accelerates nicely with no apparent slippage.
Tranny fluid and filter has been changed at 109k since no one before did it without any changes in behavior.
Any suggestions or recommendations?
I live on long island NY, dont know of any tranny shop that I would trust to work on this and defenitely dont want to go dealer,
is this a case to rebuild? and if so does any one know a shop or company for that?
