How do you know if you have Leather or Leatherette
2002 A6 3.0 Quattro
I have the following options Sunroof, rear heated seats, Rear Parking sensors , HID lights.
How can you tell if you have leather or leatherette. Looking online and the options I have indicate that you must have leather for some of the option combinations

To be absolutely 100% sure, look in your trunk...
There is an option code sitcker in the spare tire well, if you have the "NOC" code, it is imitation leather. Here is a list of all the option codes for the C5 A6. Scroll down to the ones that start with "N" for the seating options.

I have basically the same options. When I had a tear in my driver seat bolster repaired, the shop said the bolsters were leatherette but the actual spot where you planted your butt and back were leather. So even if the sticker says leather, I don't think it is 100% leather (unless they got cheap in 2003).
