Default 2000 A6 recommended brakes

Can anyone please help me decide what kind of brake pads and rotors i should buy for my 2000 A6? I am not very familiar with the model. I just bought it, i love it. I was told is the sport edition, it has 4 pads / wheel in the front.
I would like to put ceramic drilled rotors and pads.
Can any one recommend some names, brands...as well as how much would a job like this cost me. Should i do all 4 wheels, or just the front?
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Flat rotors, pads as close to OEM as you can find...unless you intend to track the car or you have other requirements.

I think that you would have got more answers if you gave more info on how the car is driven.

I am a regular driver, nothing special. I a not gonna race the car, although the person who sold it to me said he has a chip inside bringing the car to 315 HP. Basically i need the car to stop really fast, with no noise and less dust as possible.
Right now the rims are almost grey due to brake dust.

So you are looking for a quiet, low dust pad for normal street driving. That should help drum up some answers. OEM fits the bill, but is a bit dusty. Maybe Textars?

Default What about the EBC Brakes? You hear

a lot about them these days. Get the green or red stuff brake pads and as far as rotors get the cross drilled stuff, example is Zimmerman.

Your gonna wanna get cross-drilled and/or slitted rotors and carbon-ceramic brakes or semi-metallic brake pads. $ 200-300 on eBay will get you the cross-slitted and drilled rotors for all 4-wheels and many come with brake pads.

Default brakes

I just bought some cross drilled and slotted rotors for front and rear from ECS tuning. I also bought the PBR ceramic brake pads and am very happy with the results. The stopping power is excellent but i haven't had them on long enough to see how dusty they are.

Drilled holes are for appearance only. Slots may have some use in outgassing under hard use with certain pads. For about 99% of the cars on the road flat rotors are the best solution.

Regular rotors are fine. I just installed the PBR ceramic pads as well and really like them. Far better for regular driving than the Hawk HPS pads I replaced them with.
