Sirius Wires For Navigation???
I just picked up a CPO 2006 A6 that did not come with navi , the dealer says he could install it if i wanted for $3,000. I then went on ebay and bought a DVD Navigation Drive and Disc. I was looking in the boot in the back and someone told me the car came prewired for sirius radio and told me i could use those wires as long as i never planned pon getting sirius. It looks as though the wires would be able to work for the navigation unit as well , the power and optical look the same, the only thing i would need to get is a Blue Fakra GPS wire since the two wires conected to the shark fin right now are for sirius. Forgot to mention that i never plan on getting sirius radio or the AMI so i would have no use for the optical ring that is connected to the optical cable, Just a direct connection to the NAVI. If anyone could verify this information or know someone that could verfiy it and let me know i would really appreciate it. Just don't want to have to buy all these extra wires if its not neccessary.
