BBA reman clusterpox repair review
I’ve been holding off on having both the cluster in the C5 and B5 fixed as prices on clusterpox repair have been falling. Module Master is down to $120 for this repair and BBA is at $350 for a full cluster rebuild. Since I am in CT, which is much closer to BBA, I emailed them about matching the MM price for the center display repair only.
We agreed on a price and I mailed them both clusters on a Monday morning, FedEx Ground. They called Wednesday to bill my credit card. The clusters arrived an Thursday. Great turnaround and great customer service.
I was, however, a bit disappointed with the repair. The display is fixed, but it is much brighter than the rest of the cluster. The background is brighter and the characters too. This is not an OEM repair.
Cliff Notes: Great deal for the money, but not a direct OEM replacement. I’d recommend the fix, but not expect perfection.
If anyone has done the MM repair in the Hartford area, I’d love to meet up and compare displays some time.
