HELP! trading my 02 A6 and found...
I decided to go check the car out on sun when they were closed and found a 4" scratch on the hood, a big mess under the front spoiler, and about 20 small scratches near the gas filler door. what should i do. the car is that metallic gray. the scratches arent deep, but what can they do to fix it?
probably wont be able to match the paint on a 2007 car with that color. buffing could screw up the clear coat. what should i do?

If buffed properly with the right compounds and pads you shouldn't have to worry about the clear coat and your isssue with the scratches should be gone.
If the scratches are deep enough and have gone through to the primer coat, then you have to touch them up with a paint pencil and use the same buffing process.
