6 SPEED RS6
Then there is the electronics to deal with!
The torque converter on the RS6 is quite a bit larger than on the V8 cars and the bolt pattern on the bell housing is larger in circumference to accommodate the larger torque converter.

I'm looking at using an 0A3 tranny, which seems to bolt up to most of the holes except the lower holes which seems to be the only holes that don't match up, even the upper starter motor bolt matches perfectly, the lower one needs a little adjustment I think, next week I will have the gearbox and engine in the same location, if everything goes well....
I just think it's funny how most people say it can't be done, it's not possible but no one has actually physically tried it they just go on what everyone else says...
I'm building a spare RS6 engine with forged internals (rods/pistons), 8.5:1 compression oversized stainless valves. I will be putting an 0A3 gearbox against it even if I have to create an adapter plate (worst case).
