Gettin Dirty 1999.5 A4 1.8TQM
Hi All,
Short story is that I'm on borrowed time for my timing belt (and some other repair work). I did a timing belt change once before, thermostat and pumps etc... but had some help. Wondering if anybody would be willing to trade me some time. I'm a computer/network/PC/Web/Server guy and if somebody would be willing to help me out (just don't have the confidence to do it all myself) I would love to give back for the help!
Have decent amount of hand tools, compressor, jack stands,
Please pass on to any 1.8T gurus interested in something like this!

Have you ever used either of these? I think I have just enough tools to get the job done, anything special I need (I don't remember any "gotchas" on tools) just don't want to get stuck midway!

The first kit with all the belts was the one I used. Also bought two bottles of coolant. I didn't have to get any special tool. I just followed the instructions from the Tech articles and everything went well without problems. I know it's real intimidating cause there's so much to do but I just took my time did it in an organized way and I was fine.

I've been working on a few 'easy' tasks these last few days and decided to get the timing belt done with a mechanic that I found on Craigslist for a little cash.
