Default New Zeitronix stuff

I just got the Zeitronix data logging stuff (xmas present to myself). Is anyone else using this?

I'm a little unclear about where to install the 5bar MAP sensor and how to grab a feed from the EGT sensor. Also, I need to install a wide band O2 sensor. Any tips on placement?

First, 5 bar map sensor would be easy to connect to the line running to the FPR correct?

Second, EGT sensor will be a no go since I believe they are set up for a K type thermocouple and not an bosche digital EGT sensor pack. Having said that, a k-type thermocouple is probably 30$ and you could add an extra bung for that.

Thirst, 12" away from the turbo on the passenger side DP. Or if you have fully gutted cats, on the stock rear location.

I checked, it uses a K-type.

Yep, I've been looking around for one but can't find one specifically for automotive applications. I also don't want to make a hole in my exhaust manifold. Damn it.

Thanks for your help man.

Zeitronix sells an EGT+thermocouple for $89, just FYI. I don't think I'll bother with the EGT at the moment as I don't have time to drill holes and weld.

You can get them in the $30$ range.

With the EGT on it? Where? I guess I'm looking in the wrong places because all I can find is stuff for soldering irons or something like that.

if you were putting it after the turbo, I think the temp range of 1000C would be fine. Well your still running stock EGTs so enrichment should keep it from ever hitting that anyway.

So you think running the Wideband O2 would be fine in the rear cat section (in place or one of the rear O2's)? Im running the AR Design (Not ARD) downpipes so I dont exactly have rear cats but how accurate of a reading would I get running it that far away vs running closer to the turbo?

They normally take the wideband readings from exhaust pipe so the important thing is not to take the reading too far up. It needs to be after the cats. The guys at vast said using the stock location on the driver's side down pipe would be fine.
