StopTech ST40 Rebuld, anyone done it?
I've rebuilt calipers from other vendors, it was pretty easy. Just pop out the pistons, inspect, replace the seals, replace the pistons, boots and snap rings.
Are these any different?

I ordered boots seals and springs today. the price is ridiculous.
Anyone notice the price for the rubber pressure seal here?

$10 for a rubber gasket about the circumference of a half-dollar coin.
Seriously? Seriously.
Stoptech gets you the initial setup more cheaply than the competition, but WTF with the consumables? $10 for that seal? C'mon. With rebuild kits at this price combined with the common hat failure makes the recurring expenditure of stoptech expensive.
If you're looking for a solution and plan to keep your car, it may actually be cheaper to go with a more expensive kit up front.
