S4 PROJECT REBUILD
Got it cheap, a shop was gonna part it out, started dismantling the interior, and the timing belt had broken.
The mission:
1)put the interior back together( pile of cluster, steering wheel, stereo, glove box, dome lights, etc...all sitting in back seat)
2) fix the motor:
replace valves, lifters, timing belt, water pump (possibly pistons)
This thread is going to be my reference/journal of each and every step i take. With every picture I take(for reassembly reference)
two of the front: headlights were sold, side markers, drivers door handle covers, grilles and badges were stolen.
one of the dent in the pass side doors (minor)
I came in 30 mins early to take some pics of where everything is and put the engine covers in the back seat. throttle body was already removed so I brought that in to clean it ( had to do something today)
open up the air box too and tossed the air filter
