S4 boost pressure
As for the internals, I've been told no more than 25psi, which is pushing the envelope. 23 psi is considered reliably safe. The first thing to fail are the stock piston rods, you can get stronger replacements, like pauter rods, for about 1200.
For a GT build you probably will need coated pistons. Valve upgrade is optional from what I hear but it never hurts to do the supertech if you've got the time and skill.
Your stock boost hoses, DVs and intercoolers also need to be upgraded for anything around 17psi.
My advice is to swap out the stock lines only if you notice significant wear and tear when you do the turbo swap. I kept mine because they were in good condition. If you want to go with ebay stuff then the best thing to do is see if you can get the brand name stuff there for a little cheaper. I would not buy off-brand oil lines.
