Instrument Center Display Problem

My 2000 S4 center display shows open doors, press clutch in, the self check process,etc. But for some reason has stopped displaying my radio info, range, and mpg. What could this be caused by since it is not the display itself and all pixels are working? I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery and it worked for about a week and then went back out again.

Did you "turn off" the display. A fast click of the reset button on the right stalk will turn it on/off.

Wow! I've had the car for six months now but never noticed that button. Thanks, you helped make my snow day that much better.
