Default Anyone have a MAF kicking around the garage?
Did a smoke test the other day only to find smoke billowing out from the MAF and various other hoses. Looking for a MAF for a 2001 S4, if anyone has one for sale. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks again,

yup got a stock one - the bosch type. It was still working when I took it out during the turbo swap.

edit: Uh...I'm pretty sure that the 2001 has the hitachi, right? If so, then ignore this post, if not then...don't.

Ya, the guy who owned it before me broke the piece of the housing where the clip pulls against, and attempted to do some light carpentry with a drill gun and some zip ties to solve the problem. No dice.

Ive been looking online for awhile, seems to be bosch for the 2001

Looks like its the hitachi one. Im looking for the housing and sensor because Im running rich and think the sensor is toast but dont have the money at the moment to purchase a new one. If you have the hitachi one, shoot me a pm. Thanks again.
