just some venting
A4's had 1.8t's and 2.8's, so their engine bays should be able to hold both with little modification, right?
now the linking.
TT's and A4's both had 1.8t's, so i am assuming the motor mounting is very similar,
A4's 2.8's and S4's 2.7t's share the same heads just about,
anyone following my madness?
shouldn't all these motors fit at least mechanically with little modification, maybe swapping a mount on either side or something small but the bays should all be the same, i think.

A4 and S4 are longitudinal mount, TT is transverse mount . That's not insignificant.
VR6 is a transverse narrow angle (15 degree V6) , no way a 90 degree S4 or 2.8 V6 motor would fit in a TT, far too wide.
You can fit a VR6 in a A4 though.
