Struts or bushing Squeeking
Hello, Guys, Bought a 2001 Quattro 225 for my daughter I am working on bringing it back to respectable condition. Hope you guys can help.
There is a squeaking near the left front tire everytime i hit a bump. No clacking or rattling just a squeaking. Every bump. Could this be a bad strut or are there some bushing that may be hard?

Could also be sway bar bushing/bushing plastic collar. also a diy replacement.

I am going to look at it closer this weekend. The noise is not really a squeak like metal to metal, but more of a rubber to rubber or rubber to metal like 2 balloons rubbing. Not side to side with turning or steering. Only up and down. I think Perhaps it pointing to control arm bushings.
