Haldex parts?
My differential seams to be toast and I found where you can buy the internal parts of the differential, but what about the Haldex portion of the rear end. I am trying to decide on rebuilding my differential, or just buying a salvage one. I have no idea if my Haldex is working right. I never had a code or anything, but my car handled very scary in the snow like the rear end was trying to track away from the front end and spin out of control.
So, I don't want to rebuild my diff and later find out my haldex has an issue and not be able to get parts for it or a new one.
What is the chances of a salvage yard complete rear end actually being good?
