Bump Stop & Bilstein Sports

I just got my Bilstein sports today. I am not home so I cannot try to install them until Sunday.

My question is if the stock bumpstop is going to fit on the Bilstein under their blue cover. It looks like the shaft of the bilstein is way bigger than my stock struts.

I have not tried anything yet, but I figured I would ask before I get to it.

From what I have been reading, the Bilsteins have built in bump stops in the front struts??

What about the rear shocks? I don't remember seeing any bump stops in the rear. Are the in the rear shocks? Do the bilstein shocks have bump stops?

I pulled the blue cover off one of the front struts and there is nothing under it. Its just a dust boot.

In front, it's not under the blue cover/dust boot. The bump stops are internal within the damper. None is needed or used externally

In back assuming quattro, again it's not external on the damper. It's inside the spring... the rubber piece built into the lower spring perch

With Bilsteins, just bolt 'em in

Got them all installed Yesterday. The old shocks and struts were shot. They did not even come back when compressed (by hand). The rears even made squirting noises when I compressed them. Now I just need to get an alignement some time this week. I got the 1/2 KMAC, but some say I may not need it. I will take it with me when I get the alignment. I usually help do my own alignments at a local race shop, so I will just put it in then if I need it.
