Need power mod advice
I recently picked up a 2003 black on black 225hp quattro. It is 100% stock, but I am already planning on changing that.
I used to have a 02 mustang with a 2.6L Kenne Bell SC, so I need to up the power on the TT since thats what I am used to....
I do have a couple of questions regarding the TT, and I hope that someone who knows these little rascals can give me a quick answer.
- How much power can the stock engine/trans/haldex sustain?
- What is the best and most cost efficient way to achieve this?
I was hoping for some 300/300 to the wheels, atleast. I know that the APR tune will give me 260 some, but how do I pick up the last 40? Full exhaust is probably good for 20/20? Will I need to upgrade MAF, injectors, TB?
Or should I just go straight for a turbo replacement?

Unitronic tuning is your best bet, far better then APR ( i think) , and they have stage 2 tune that will get you to 285hp, they list all the recomended stuff you need to make your you get all 285hp out of the tune.
