Default Need SoCal dealer feedback please

My wife and I are about 30 days into our 2008 Q7 CPO we bought at a dealer in Oakland. I need to establish a relationship with a dealer for some service, since we also bought the extended Audi Care plus warranty to cover the 55K, 65K and 75K services. Can anyone share their thoughts, experience or feedback on any of the following dealers?

* Keyes Audi (Van Nuys).
* Audi Auto Gallery (Woodland Hills).
* Rusnak Audi (Thousand Oaks).
* Rusnak Audi (Pasadena).

Audi is one of only few cars left without a dealer in Santa Clarita. This is a good thing for us because there are few on the road here and that makes ours a little more unique. Of course we now have to take the car further away for service and either hang out until it's done or hopefully get a loaner while it's there.

While I'm on the subject, there is an independent Audi mechanic right around the corner from my office (also in Santa Clarita) called Tato Motorsports or TMS European at www.tatomotorsports.com. I hear the owner George is well thought of in rally car circles.....has anyone heard about or dealt with TMS?

I lived in LA for a while and have experience with a couple of the the dealers you listed. I took my A4 to Keyes Van Nuys for a couple years under warranty service. They were generally good while the car was there. The transmission needed to be replaced at one point and they kept it for over a week. They gave me a loaner car so it wasn't much of a bother. When I got my car back, I hopped in a drove away without really inspecting the car. I stopped at a fast food place about a mile down the road, and as I walked away I noticed that both of the wheel emblems on the passenger side where missing. I didn't look at the passenger side of the car when I picked it up. I drove back to the dealer, and they immediately had an attitude, and told me that they must have fallen off after I drove away. I said you mean 5 minutes ago? The manager wasn't available, so they gave me his phone number and I left. After a couple phone conversations with the manager, they refused to replace the wheel caps or even offer me a discount on new ones. It obviously wasn't a money issue, they were cheap. It was a principal thing. So I never went back there.

After that I started going to Rusnak Pasadena, and it was a top notch place. The service people were great, they covered several things under warranty that probably shouldn't have been covered. They always gave me a nice loaner car for the day. They have tons of nice cars to look at around the lot. The only reason I stopped going is I moved away. I highly recommend that place.

Good luck to you.

I should also add that I have heard good things about Auto Gallery. Never had any of my cars serviced there, but friends of mine have had good experiences there.

I've used Rusnak Pasadean for my '82 coupe, '99 Porsche 996, and now my 2010 S4. Ive found them to straight forward and honest, but not cheap.
