3.2 Launch Control

I have read that the 2004 on 3.2 has a launch control feature which is disabled in the US?

I have also read that this can be 'turned back on' with the right tools (Vag Com etc).

Has anybody done this or know how to do it?

It had launch control in Europe, but because of what Audi quoted at the time "insurance issues" it was disabled and the mechanical parts removed for all stateside 3.2 TT. So no it cannot be done. Boo

I guess I'll have to get the mechanical parts when I'm back in England this summer....oh yes, and buy the 3.2

Any ideas on what parts? I thought it was an electrical system activated by releasing the brake pedal @3200 rpm

I was about reference HPA as well.

Do you happen to have this? Looking for some pro's/con's from a person that has the HPA Launch Control Feature.

No, not yet. Still trying to justify the $$$ for a firmware update. My car is just a toy, not a daily driver, so not worth the $ for upgrades.
