Audi interior lights to LED
I changed my interior lights to LED but some errors are showing up in VCDS. No error on the dash tho. Also trunk lights switch failed because car turns them off for probably some safety reason. When I switched all 3 trunk lights, they flashed for 2-3 times and then turned off - car checked the lights and thought they aren't working properly.
Anyways, I used regular T10 LED's but I guess I should probably use some with error cancellation or built-in load resistors. Maybe someone who has done this could share some info on this topic?
I also did the license plates and haven't had an issue yet with that either.
I got the LP from ECS Tuning. I actually got the whole assembly with the lens built in because I had one that broke and was missing. It was to buy the assembly with LED from them or just buy the bulbs and buy the lens from Audi (which probably would have been more expensive in the end).
I got the trunk LEDs from autolumination.com (CANBUS 194). It will be the same as the glove-box, so get at least 4. I found that the 194 blades are the same for the doors, dome, and map lights. I don't know if those have to be CANBUS though.
The rest I got from AETuning. I have to send those back because they are the wrong type.
Hope this helps.
