Phantom Warning "recharge battery now"
After shutting the car down to get gas, and then going through my setup menu on the climate control to activate my solar sunroof, I started getting the strangest audio warning out of my speakers saying "recharge battery now". It repeats about every 3-4 minutes. I've never heard this before and have no idea how to stop it. My better is less than a year old and the MMI says it's at 100 percent. Even when my battery started to go last year, it never gave that audio warning. Anyone know what it is and how I can shut it off. It even gives the warning with the car off and key out of ignition!

Nope, seriously never heard (of) it. No chance it is an errant cell phone on speaker, or bluetooth still engaged (before a door gets opened if you have the delayed exit off feature for bluetooth engaged)? The display does warn of a battery remote getting low on juice, but it's just visual on mine (a 2006 with the expanded display found w/ adaptive cruise) and only when the car is on.
Mine doesn't give any warnings for a flat main (starter) battery, beyond the meter reading in MMI and that it looses the time and trip computer info if it gets pretty low from to much playing, leaving lights on, etc..

I've never heard of that one before. I've never seen it posted anywhere either.
I have, however, discontinued the use of Scotch and hallucinogenic drugs at the same time. Prior to that, I could share quite a few similar stories.

OK...we can scratch this post all together...Oh I feel stupid. I have a Jawbone Jambox. It's an awesome little portable bluetooth speaker that I take with me when I travel. Anyhew....the speaker was in my bag on the front on the front passenger floor. It gives an audible "Recharge Battery" when low. The speaker quality is so good, I thought it was coming from my speakers!! I finally realized that I had the speaker in the bag...I pulled it out, and just as I did it told me "Recharge Battery Now"!! Thanks for the replys anyway. I try to delete post so I don't have waste everyone brain power!
