Need help with rear brake calipers.

I replaced the pads on the rear brakes of my 90 Quattro, but now we can't get the caliper's pistons to retract. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

take the pads back off. then you have to turn the piston as you push. C-clamp and a "brake cube" work well.

You have to apply pressure as you rotate them back in.

Sometimes you can rent them from your parts store or they may let you borrow them.

You don't need a C-clamp. Just take a pair of needle nose pliers, stick them into the two slots of the piston, and turn clockwise as you push inward, the piston will retract.
