Found an A8

I ran across this car, dont know alot about audis so i was wondering if anyone had any advice on it: good deal, bad deal, something i should inquire about it etc. my bro said that he wasnt sure if it had the 4.2 fsi or 4.2 pfi n that if it had the pfi that it might need to be replaced around now because of its mileage since the carfax never mentioned that. other than that it seems to be a decent deal to me. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I'd pass, it has higher mileage paired with quite the service history in addition to having pretty much base stock options, i.e. no upgraded leather package etc. Also the seats look quite used and that is by far my least favorite interior color. Price should be cheaper too

thanks. i dont mind the interior that much. as for mileage the 20000$ is about my limit and most ones ive looked at appear to be around that number miles wise. i kind of thought the service history was a good thing, its alot but seems to have been taken care of because of that.

I agree too many miles interior is a pukey...you can definetely find something better. A word of advice speaking from experience. Pay a little more for something with a extended factory warranty, if you plan on joining the A8 club on a tight budget you may get drowned by repair bills.

Put it this way I paid $25k for mine, but wish I would have paid $30k for one with lower miles and a factory warranty, because I have well over that now into mine.

I have 90k on mine. The history is just odd they did a lot of little things so early in the cycle, and a few like the tires being changed so soon? It seems like the previous owners really beat the hell out of it though. My issues I've had with my car actually have fixed them-self lol? It is still very scary though. (window switch, battery management alert, headlight leveler, intermittent window up/down on passenger, auto unlock/lock door handles) all of those things have temporarily stopped working and fixed them-self within a week of having an issue. Knock on wood.
