Looks sa-weet!

I did LED conversion on all of the interior bulbs as well as the license plate bulbs. Makes a huge difference and looks clean.

You could also get an updated NAV disc and the standard VAG COM disables (seatbelt chime and door chime).

Oh, and lastly, get all weather mats for the inside. Easier to clean and looks clean also.

Have fun!

Minimize or eliminate taking it to the In and Out Express Car Wash so you don't get scratches and swirls. It would be an honor to detail a beautiful car like that. Enjoy!

No need for the Milltek, just pin back the flaps in two of the four exhaust tips for better low RPM growl, and install this x pipe for better flow and sound;

Replace the air filters with K&N, and remove the cold air flaps from each box.

APR tune.

If you have ~8G to spend, think about the upcoming SC from JHM;

HAHA...I own it, and my cars get at least 4 or 5 washes a week (never a scratch!). We've washed well over a million cars, and haven't scratched a single one

Been blamed for it once or twice, but what it usually is is people only looking at their car once a month when they wash it and noticing "new scratches"...ie people blaming me for vertical scratches when brushes only move horizontally, or when scratches already have rust in them (rust doesn't appear 30 seconds after a wash)

And I've been buffing for way too long to swirl my own car!!

Thanks for the input guys!! ACEECAUS - any info on the LED kits? The dim light in the cabin really really does bother me.

As far as the Vag Com updates...is that something the dealer will do or do I need to order the disc?

Open mouth, insert foot. :-)
I'd love to get your inputs on experience on the detailing forum, although there are some strong opinions on there (what else is new).

Great to have you here, and again, beautiful ride.

JoeM, welcome to the forums. One thing, you'll never have to worry about scratches turning to rust on your S8. Well, with the exception of the windhield wiper arms as they are the only carbon steel on the exterior of your car. Everything else is eithe aluminum, plastic or rubberized vinyl.

It is interesting watching undertakers trying to attach a magnetic flag if you ever use the car to attend a funeral. First time I did was pretty funny; I said it wouldn't work... he actually grabbed a second flag thinking he had a bad magnet. I told him the wiper arm was the only thing it would attach to..... He had to try it to be sure.

Don't feel bad - I looked quickly and thought it was the burger place out west !
Guess the bifocals need to upgraded.

Forgot to say it before - nice Audi, and welcome to the forum Joe_M.
