Adjusting windows and seals on Cabriolet
I'm new to this forum however I have read a lot of threads and this place seems to be the one to get help from other Audi owners.
I have just recently bought my dream car, an Audi cabriolet from 96.
The body is good, the top works though I think it needs to be replaced in a couple of years.
I do though have a few issues with the side windows both door and behind the door, that needs to be fixed.
Passengers side is ok the seal and the windows are properly aligned.
the drivers side is another story. It seems that the rear window has been replaced.
I detected that the rear side window does not completely slide in
completely into window seal on the convertible top
Side window must slide completely into window seal on convertible top.
Also the door window in the drivers side does not completely press into the rear window seal, which makes some noise when driving.
My question is how can I adjust it, so both the rear side window slides correctly into the window seal and the door window makes contact over the entire lenght of the rear window seal?
Is it a easy thing to do or does it need a pro?
Thanks a lot for any answers.

To claify, I'm trying to see if we can adjust your window seals on the roof and rear window, or if we're going to need to pull the rear panel to adjust the position of the rear window itself.
I'm thinking that the rear window isn't going all the way up, which is leaving it at an angle. THAT definitely will cause a gap between the 2 windows, as well as the top's seal against the rear.
Or, it could just be that the rubber trim needs adjusting. It happens. It's rare, but it happens. Either way, I think I can help with posting some instructions for you. I just need to be able to see which set I should post. It takes me FOREVER, so I'd prefer only do it once.
Cheers,

I have measured both passenger side and drivers side. Passenger side is approx. 148,5cm and drivers side approx 148cm, so it needs 5mm in total length.
The distance on the B pillar is 7mm between side window and rear side window, that way I think I also need to adjust the door window as well, to maintain the proper distance of 7mm.
