80,000 Miles and still going strong (2006 A8L)
Just had the following issues resolved:
NOT Covered under CPO Warranty
- Battery (Bad Cell)
- New Front Brake Pads and Rotors
Covered under CPO Warranty
- Right Hinge on Trunk Lid & New Motor
- New Compressor for Air Suspension
- New motor for right side view mirror
Still love this ride!

- MMI upgrade to 4610 [Dealer did for free]
- Install of newer version CD Changer (MP3 Support) [Dealer did for free]
- Trans flush and "Hoot" TSB Fix [I covered the labor, warranty the parts]
- Timing Belt (Rollers, Tensioners)
- Coolant
- Water Pump
- Thermostat
- Accessory Belt
Covered under Warranty
- Trans flush [parts only]
NOT Covered under Warranty

Dealer told me that it is 16 Qts of Fluid (@ $46/Qt) and 3.5 hours labor... I found the fluid for $31 and negotiated him down to $36. So that's...
16 * $46 (Fluid)
1 * $68 (Gasket)
3.5 * $120 (Labor)
TOTAL: $1224.00 + Tax or less depending on your ability to negotiate the fluid cost.

Wow am I glad the previous owner of mine was so **** about things - that's a pretty penny.
But if I paid $100,000 for the A8 I'd be a regular in the Service Department before warranty ran out too....
Honestly not knowing much [read: anything] about Audi at the time, big reason for buying this one was the huge stack of service records that came with it.
That's also why it goes back to the same dealer since they now have all those records under my name.
