I'm here too and have frequented this message board since buying the beast in March 2004. I think you would agree that although the action on this board has slowed considerably, the responsiveness and volume of feedback from the beast is incomparable. I'm at 62k miles and looking to stay with my RS6, although the 2013 S8 does look intriguing.

We watched the Top Gear episode last night that featured the RS6 Avant being piloted down a mountain in the French Alps. I think it was 2008. What a stunning car! Some serious power, too

Yes indeed. The RS6 is a wonderful car. I don't personally have one but my dad does and it just turned over 45k miles. He loves it but at 50k hes thinking that the timing belts and such will have to be done.
