Replace center bumper cover

Anyone know where I can find an OEM replacement for the center bumper cover? I got a rock chip and now the paint is peeling off. Anyone replaced one? Is it difficult? I have not really looked into it - if it requires removing a lot of other components - I will probably just bring it in. The car is a 2009 A8L

It is the center bumper insert. Why are you wanting to replace this unless the plastic is chipped. If it is just a paint chip, simply have it touched up or re-painted. It is only plastic. Simple. If not the OEM part is a bumper insert w/o license plate and comes primed but not painted. So all in all you don't even need to know the part number or need to buy a new one just slap some paint on yours... They are easy to replace too.

Thanks - that is what I needed to know. I figured since they were all that shiny black for this year they would come that way. If it is just primed, it definitely would be easier to just have it touched up.

It's called the front plate delete plate. They're about $220 from the stealerships, and slightly less from online OEM Audi part suppliers.

They have different colors and variants (parking sensor holes, chrome trim, etc) so make sure you order correctly.

I'd look at re-painting it since you have the glossy black cover. Your's actually comes shiny new, btw. However, it takes all of 1 minute to remove it and you could then paint and let dry. Your choice.
