Default Empty space to the left of the spare in the trunk...

Re: 2005 A8L, what goes to the left of spare in the trunk? To the right is the jack (in a nice plastic case) but what about the other side? It appears that something should be there...

Thanks!

Pretty sure that is where the tire iron goes. Inside of a case.

I've filled that space up with other tools, wiring, fuses, bail money gloves, worklight etc.

Interesting. OK, last request. Can you take a pic of the tools you have in the drop down? I have an empty spot and I am trying to figure out what goes there =]

Nice... Bail $, need to store some of that =]

When I purchased the car the non-plate license plate filler panel was sitting there (bonus). I can't help but think something was intended for that space... especially since there is a random piece of Velcro there.

It's probably the wheel lock key.

I asked about it here and posted a pic of mine https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...light=tool+kit

That is it and exactly what I had guessed. Looks like we all go through the process of making our cars "whole" =]

Very true !
Reminds me I have a few little projects like a scuff plate waiting for cooler weather.

Wonder if there's a Genuine Audi bail money carrier that goes in that other spot ?
