Aftermarket Seat Brackets
After driving my CQ for 10 years, I need a seat that will sit lower. I've fought this since day one, but I never planned on keeping this car quite this long.
Looking around the various sites, I never see the 80/90/CQ listed for seat brackets. On Corbeau's site they list:
100 up to 87
100 88-91
Ur-Quattro, 4000, FOX, DASHER 8/74+
5000 83
A3 6/06 +
A4 Quattro 2.8 (electric) 96-01
A4 Quattro (small eng.) 96-01
A4,S4 02-04
A6, S6
FOX up to 74
QUATTRO, 5000 (STD ONLY)84-89
S4 00-03, V5 A4 96-01
TT QUATTRO 10/01-02
WAGON 5000 94
Don't any of these share the same floor mount as our cars?????
My next option is to gut a local CQ parts car and mount a seat on the stock base. I would really like to avoid this. I don't need power or heat, just something that will drop me in the car.
Yes making a custom mount bolted to the floor is an option (did this with another car) but I would really like to avoid doing this if I can.

I'll take a stab and say the brackets have long been NLA for a stand alone piece to purchase.
Your best choice is to pirate a better version from another car which of course is always easier said then done.

But on that idea, what model / year Audi's will bolt into a CQ? Friend of mine has dismantled quite a few Audi's and has some seats lying around.
