Sunroof shade "stuck" to glass

Sunroof shade "stuck" to glass
Just got back from another 1,500 mile round trip.
A8 ran like a Swiss Watch, as usual.
Weird thing is the shade that is under the sunroof glass is now "stuck" to the panel.
As in it won't move independently anymore and feels like it's locked to the panel.
There must be some sort of claw/keeper mechanism that grabs the back when it's titled, and am thinking it may not be letting go.
For me it's not a deal breaker as they are never in opposite positions but don't need a massive problem (read: leak or broken panel) in the making.
Any thoughts ?
Apologies in advance for not having done a lot of research yet - looking to crowd source answer and avoid a dealer trip because time is so tight for me right now.

p.s. Didn't fiddle with it until I got home. Had visions of the panel flying off on I-95 at 85MPH

It worked really well last year. My old M5 used to get to around 65 degrees (C) in Summer. The A8 got to about 45 max. Definitely think that it works well. I usually pop the roof, activate the blind and then let the solar fan do its thing. To be honest, I actually really like it now.
Just sucks about the sunroof thing with the light not coming in during winter.
Ah well, I can't have both!

Mystery solved.
There are 2 black rubber bump stops that are attached to the shade via a nipple about 1" from either side.
Noticed this afternoon that the one on the right was stuck to the moveable glass.
Something else to add to my maintenance list....
