Default Quattro exhaust on non-quattro

Looked around, found nothing. Want to know if it would bolt on to my FWD from headers all way to the exit in the back. Both cars are from 1995 and both are 90, one FWD auto, another 5spd Quattro. Made race exhaust for my Auto last year, Biggest mistake ever!, flow through everything is loud no matter what you do. Picked up Quattro for parts.

So, will it? I dont want to get stuck 1/2 way cause one does not bolt on to another. and interferes somewhere in the rear suspension. Since Auto goes in the center then up and around gas tank and muffler. While quatro is sideways then up in the left area of the car and muffler.

Apparently not. The bend for the muffler would interfere with the torsion beam. Also cat mounts are in different place, and resonator has extra mount that is on the diff and not on the chassis.

Good detective work though "Quattro exhaust on non-quattro". I like the part where you say "Picked up a Quattro for parts."

My '93 B4Q has some FWD exhaust parts that it apparently came with. See link:

The missing or non OEM mid-muffler is a well known noise-maker on the quattro's so I assume the same issuse holds true for FWD's. Currently Q exhaust mid-mufflers are on sale at the dealers, perhaps FWD mid-mufflers are also?

IIRC the FWD mid-muffler is a huge ugly thing, but my smaller B4 mid-muffler/resonator mounts are both to the chassis, not the diff.

The FWD resonator is different that Quattro. The Q is once unit, while FWD is dual unit. OEM FWD system is super quite. But I ended up destroying it. First by replacing the flex joints with just straight pipe. Then the Transmission bushings gone bad, and flexed enough to damage 1/2 cats and break a weld. After that it did not pass inspection, 1 cat gone, empty inside. So I got to thinking, fix up OEM or do something new. So something new.

I engineered a new system, all mandrel bend pipes, 2.25". made custom Y instead of cats, put a high capacity cat right after, OEM location. Added a flex pipe, replaced with straight pipe later, followed by largest resonator I could fit before the muffler. Made custom turn and put biggest possible muffler instead of the oem resonators. Exit before rear tire. Cost, around 250 bucks. Magnaflow cat and muffler, and glass pack for resonator.

3 benefit, does pass inspection now, on high end on NOx but passes. 2nd, picked up some power now too, and better MPG, about +2 on hw.
1 bad thing, its loud inside.

All this writing leads to the reason for me wanting oem exhaust back.

PS. FWD had no resonator noise, not like the Quattro has.
