2004 TT Quattro 3.2 Roadster
Everything is great! It handles like a dream in town or on the highway, dry, wet or snow.
But... I started getting a clunking sound every-time I hit a bump, so, because there is no Audi Dealer in Pocatello I took my TT to Cole Chevrolet who while switching my summer tires to winter; had them do a look-see if anything was loose underneath the car. I have had and still own Chevy's and trust the mechanics.
Could it be the rear window screen behind the roll bars? I dropped the top to check and the window does not raise now. could our SE Idaho and Northern Utah roads be too rough for it and the glass fell out of the track?
I have two other questions:
1. The little door on the back of the cabin between the two seats keeps popping open; is there a remedy for this? Don't say duct tape! and what the hell is it for?
2. I notice there is a flat spot when ever I give the 3.2 gas, which I only buy premium fuel but in Idaho they put ethanol in our gas, is this the problem?
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
My Wife wants to get me the "ON Star" mirror for my Roadster, will it be compatible?
Merry Christmas
John

Lots of info on the 3.2. By the way I have a 2005 3.2 lowered about 25mm on coilovers. Love the handling and the sound of that awesome engine!
