Bilstein absorbers question on a B4 Cabrio

I'm looking into buying a set of Bilstein struts for the front of my Cabrio. Does anyone have experience with these? I was looking into the "Sport" model because im running a 2" drop on the ****ty Voglund springs...should i be looking at the "HD" model instead? I have heard the Konis are better...but their also more expensive. Thoughts?

Please don't think I mean to dampen your enthusiasm...

I have some Audi B3/B4 fr. susp. Bilstein experience, and they are a wonderful product. There have been many discussions here on them and the Vogtland springs, of which I have just luckily, no experience. You may be farther ahead to:

a.) search for and find those threads particular to your situation;
b.) get some Mount-Savers &/or Pro-Mounts;
c.) consider re-installing the OEM springs, if you don't have them, you really ought to get some OEM sport springs; &
d.) go back and read the essential install techniques and mods recommended for Bilstein installation.

The success of <i>any</i> damper installation hinges on your getting the above correct prior. You will also by then be able to correctly answer your other questions and grasp the reasons why.
