I know I have a ton of pics in this thread. I couldn't decide which ones to post, so I posted them all, lol. I figured this would help some of the people still waiting for their cars to pass the time.

I finally took delivery of my 2012 A6 Prestige Supercharged V6 with Full LED Headlights and the Driver's Assistance Package (Adaptive Cruise Control/Side assist/Pre-sense plus/Power Folding Mirrors). It is a US spec that I ordered through the military/diplomat sales in the UK.

I ordered my car on Aug 22, 2011 and picked it up on Jan 4th, 2012.

It is Ibis White with Nougat Interior, Black Headliner and Fine Grain Ash Natural Wood Inlays. I have some 19" A5 S-line wheels that I will use for the summer time.

I washed it today for the first time and went on a little drive. I recently moved to England and can't wait to tour around Europe in my new A6. I have not seen any other C7 A6's driving around yet. Oh, and I have my UK Euro style plates, I just haven't put them on yet.

I took a ton of pictures and some videos around the area where I live. I am not a photographer, but I think most of them turned out pretty nice.

I have gotten so many compliments in the short time I have had the car. This car is simply amazing and looks even better at night with LED lights pretty much in every nook and cranny!

Nothing special in the videos, just cruising around. Still breaking it in...the adaptive cruise is pretty amazing.

Congratulations, very nice looking car, and you did very well with the pictures. Wondering if you're going to have trouble driving on the, err, incorrect side of the road with a US car.

No problems driving on the other side of the car. We have been driving my "ugly" truck here since Oct and it's not a big deal. If we ever need to pass on a 2 lane road, we either have the passenger look for cars or just don't pass and wait it out. No need to get in a wreck and rush things.

I will change my avatar asap!!! I love my truck, though, it gets just as many compliments as the A6!!

 

Wow, looks awesome, congrats. Are those LED's on the door handles? I don't think I have those.

Yes, they are. The only way I can get them to turn on is by having the all of the lights set to automatically turn on while leaving the car and/or unlocking the car in MMI. At least, I think that is what I did...I have only messed with it once. If you need me to double check I will.

Thanks, didn't realize the lights were there. I'll just have to change my MMI settings and see if it works.

 

I think the door handles are tied to approach lighting when you use the remote to unlock.
